RG consulation sessions

We hope you’re doing well. We’ve been busy preparing for the start of Reimagining Goldfinger and have some great updates for you on what we’ve been up to so far.

On the 10th and 24th of July we held our first youth and resident’s consultation sessions for Reimagining Goldfinger. The sessions were an opportunity for young people and local residents to learn more about Reimagining Goldfinger and provide valuable feedback as to workshops plans. It was an informal meeting with plenty of refreshments and great conversations about the project, how Spid Theatre can engage with local young people and older residents and learning about the experiences of residents living in the Cheltenham estate.

A warm thank you to all those who attended. We’ll be holding several consultations throughout this year long project and look forward to listening to the voices of young people and older residents.

*Reimagining Goldfinger begins on the 28th of July. Learn more about the project and sign up via our website at

An exciting journey begins!

Hi all, welcome to Spid Theatre’s first blog post for the Reimagining Goldfinger project.

We are pleased to welcome you along for what will be a truly fascinating year long project in which we explore the heritage of West London’s Cheltenham Estate.   We’d like to thank our supporters and partners including The 20th Century, the Victoria and Albert Museaum, Arts Council, BBC, The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chealsea-TMO.

Right now we’re signing up young people (13-25 years old) who’d be interested and who would like the opportunity to:

  • Work with specialists to explore the history of Goldfinger’s iconic estate
  • Make a film, performance, exhibition, and get qualified!

So if this sounds like you then hurry before spaces fill and sign up via or email 0208 969 4570 / 07903861674

Thank you for reading and stay tuned for more posts about this journey including insight into our consultation sessions/taster sessions, updates on workshops and  a range of guest posts. We look forward to sharing and encourage engagement.

Make sure to follow us on twitter @SPIDTheatre and on Facebook.
